2023 Women’s Day Celebration

International Women’s Day has come and gone, but the memory still lingers in the minds of every woman who was present to celebrate that day. It is a yearly event where women across the globe come out in large numbers to celebrate themselves and appreciate who they are. The 8th of March is set aside every year as “International Women’s Day”.

This year it was tagged Equality and Equity. For us at Rightway Ministries International Incorporated, the Virtuous Women Fellowship, a wing of the ministry, was not left behind as women came out in their numbers to celebrate that day in a unique way. A total of 57 women assembled in the church to celebrate that once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it was awesome.

Women appeared in the colours for the celebration, as can be seen in the pictures, i.e., purple and green, to further spice up the day. We had a Resource Person invited in the person of Mrs. Jummai Madaki, who presented a talk on “Gender Law Violence.” It was indeed a memorable day. We are proud to be called Women.
